Forklift Licence
(Class LF)
Coming soon. Register your interest below.
A forklift licence is the high risk work licence you need to operate a forklift truck at work. Class LF covers forklift trucks other than order-picking forklifts, which sit under their own class. Pegler is adding forklift licence training; register your interest and we will tell you when it opens.
About this course
A forklift truck is a powered industrial truck with a mast and an elevating load carriage, fitted with fork arms or another attachment for lifting and moving loads. Operating one at work is licensed high risk work under Australian WHS law: the operator needs a high risk work licence for the class of forklift, and class LF is the one that covers standard counterbalance and similar forklift trucks. Pegler is adding this course to its list. When it opens, the page will carry the course outline, what the training and assessment involve, and how to book.
Who it is for
Warehouse, yard, workshop, mine site and plant workers who need to move loads with a forklift, and employers who need licensed operators on site.
What it covers
The course outline will be published when the course opens.
