About these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and the quote and enquiry forms on it. By using the site you agree to them. They do not replace the terms that apply when you book a course with us; those are set out in your quote and booking confirmation.
Using this website
Use this website for what it is for: finding out about our courses and getting in touch. Do not use it to send spam, to submit false or misleading details, to submit other people's details without their permission, or to interfere with the site or the systems behind it. We may block access from anyone who misuses it.
Quotes
Group training, training on your site and dates that are not listed are quoted, because the price depends on the number of people, the location and the dates. A quote request through this site is an enquiry, not a booking. A quote we send you is an offer to deliver the training described in it, at the price in it, and it is valid for the period stated on the quote. Where a course date is open for online booking, its price is shown before you book, and the booking terms shown when you book apply to that booking.
Nothing is booked until we confirm it in writing.
Bookings and training
Booking, payment, cancellation, transfer and refund terms are set out in the quote and booking confirmation you receive from us, and those terms apply to the training.
Participants must meet any entry requirements stated for the course, arrive fit for work and wear the personal protective equipment required for practical work. Completing a course does not guarantee that a participant will be assessed as competent, and it does not guarantee that a licensing authority will issue a licence; those decisions rest on assessment and on the authority's own requirements.
Photos, words and the logo
The words, photos, course descriptions and the Pegler Training & Resources name and logo on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You can read and print pages for your own use and share links to them. Do not copy course material or photos for another business or website without asking us first. Unit of competency titles and codes are from the national training register and belong to the Commonwealth.
Links to other sites
This site links to other organisations, such as training partners. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other site.
The legal part, kept short
We take care to keep this site accurate, but course details, unit codes and regulatory requirements change, and we may not have updated a page yet. Check anything that matters with us before you rely on it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from relying on information on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
Your details
How we handle the details you give us is covered in our privacy policy. When you send us someone else's details, you confirm you are allowed to.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they were last changed. The version on this page is the one that applies.
