Coming soon. Register your interest below.
A non-slewing mobile crane licence (high risk work licence class CN) covers mobile cranes whose boom does not slew, with a capacity over 3 tonnes: the articulated pick-and-carry cranes common on mine, construction and industrial sites. Pegler is adding this course; register your interest and we will tell you when it opens.
About this course
A non-slewing mobile crane is a mobile crane with a boom or jib that cannot slew (rotate) around the crane's base; articulated pick-and-carry cranes and locomotive cranes are the common examples, and vehicle tow trucks are not included. Operating one with a rated capacity over 3 tonnes is licensed high risk work under Australian WHS law, and class CN is the licence class for it. Pegler is adding this course to its list. When it opens, the page will carry the course outline, what the training and assessment involve, and how to book.
Who it is for
Mine site, construction, workshop and industrial workers who move loads with a pick-and-carry crane, and employers who need licensed operators on site.
What it covers
The course outline will be published when the course opens.
